To be honest I don't hate the new ban system, but I think it should only apply to the first 2 bans.

I think that the First 2 bans on both teams both ban what they want at the same time with a 30 second time without being able to see each others bans. Because the main problem is the first pick doesn't get a ban so there are certain extremely bad matchups for champions so now they can just ban out the really bad match up to be less afraid of first picking.

After this the other 6 bans go in order with a 20 second ban time each just like it is currently, but with a shorter time to ban. Then after this it goes to the regular pick phase.

Thoughts on this?

New banning system will shave anywhere from 30seconds-2minutes off champ select. I don't care if I ban someone that they ban too. As long as that champ is banned and I get into games quick is all I care for.

Well, in ranked I don't give a shit if I get into games quick. I'd like the pick and ban phase to be more strategical than the one they've set up for 7.11 or whenever they release it.

Stratigical, In solo que??? Dude even In the current ban system there isn't anything stratigical about it. People ban the champs they hate or are hard for them. If they brought the pro scene pick ban system to solo que it would be exactly the same only take longer to get into a match. People would continue to ban who they want to ban strategy or not.
