Maybe it's because I play exclusively top
But if I'm playing a lane bully against (insert better scaling champ here) then there's nothing I can do to not get ganked and bully (insert scaling champ here) at the same time.
"Just play safe"
"Just ward up"
"Just dont shove the wave"
Whew boy, because when I'm playing a matchup where I'm incentivized to put the other laner into the dirt or lose I can totally just play safe and not even do so much as soft shove otherwise I have to back off for multiple waves. What can bully champions do if they can't establish leads in the critical phase of lane which is usually levels 2-3 which are the levels you're saying to back off the lane entirely and not make yourself a gank target. If you're not forcing the (insert scaling champ here) to lose CS or back off because he got harrassed hard and is in danger of an all-in by the time you're both reaching level 6 then why even play a bully? Darius getting picked once in the LCS means NOTHING. Picking a bully and having one's own jungler ensure that he'll win the lane is a scenario that will rarely if ever exist in non-competitive play. So you mean to tell me that the lane bully is incapable of doing his job of bullying unless if his jungler babysits him? This is why passive play scaling fighter champions and tanks are STILL dominating top lane.
What are lane bullies supposed to do then? Just not get picked in champ select? There's a reason why fighter mains have complained about scaling fighters and tanks getting away with lane too easily and top lane being awful to play. I'm expected to bully the other laner, but at the same time I'm expected to constantly ward and play safe for fear of even soft shoving the wave?
Absolute bullshit.
Geee I love when silver players make threads commanding people on how to play a lane correctly. Then the other low elo sheeps upvote them without taking the time to truly digest what exactly it is they're reading.
And no this isn't my main account.
