I kinda lol'ed at the anivia. This means that almost any jungler can level 3 dragon doesnt it?

Yes.

Because they quartered the damage, but only doubled the attack speed.

It is easier to kill but they want to open the jungle pool. That is why they nerfed it's damage.

I don't think opening the jungle pool has anything to do with soloing drag at level 3 on Anivia.

Yes it does. It makes dragon more of an early game objective. The game is NOT suppose to be 'You do not take dragon until 15 minutes in the game'. Since you are complaining about this, I am sure you are a new player and was not around when Dragon could be 2 manned at level 1.

Except Dragon is far more power than it has ever been. And if you remember in previous seasons they have made changes to drag to make it far less attractive to sneak them early.

Yeah when it was worth gold. Now that he only gives you buffs, Riot wants it to me a more early objective so you can get stacks faster. Because as of right now, if you were to get all 5 dragons buffs. it would take you 30-40 minutes without the enemy team getting 1 buff. They do not want it to take that long, its a nice change and I am glad they did that.

As long as the statistics for a first drag are this high, I don't think you can dismiss its power like that...

This is where understanding statistics and anecdotal evidence is important.

Your stats only proves that winning teams are more likely to have taken first Dragon, but does nothing to show that the act of taking dragon was why they won (i.e. it does not demonstrate why the information is like that). You could just as easily say that they took dragon first because they have better objective and team focus and it was that focus that let's them win not the actual fact of Dragon itself, which would merely be incidental.

Getting the first dragon doesn't necessarily cause you to win the game.

Being good at the game causes you to win the fight over first dragon, and also causes you to win the game.

Just means more attention to drag earlier, nothing wrong with that.

When so many junglers can do it with almost no risk, yeah there's something wrong with it.

This just gives the Jungler and the bot lane more responsibility to keep dragon warded and to do what they can to contest when the enemy Jungler tries to solo it.

wait really?

so just go fight dragon at level 3 as any champion with an upgraded machete and you'll kill it? do you have to have 2 charges of smite?

Yah pretty much, and no you don't.

(Unless you're Leblanc or Anivia)

Stupid decision yet again by Rito development team. Between this dragon change, the 100g increase, and the ridiculous Tristana nerfs (er update...) they are proving yet against they have no clue what they're doing.

It's okay though, LCS is making big $$$
