Why are junglers never ganking my lane(s)?

I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. IDK if it's cause I'm solo Que a lot. If it's my position. My warding habits. I usually have a ward or two after at all times and am usually under turret. Shouldn't that be the opportune time for jungle to gank? I mean if it was me in the jungle and the enemy laner was near my tower. I'd fly in faster then the police after finding someone on FBI's most wanted.

There's a lot of factors to account for, the ones in particular that can make a jungler stray away from a specific lane could be the follow;

  1. Vertical jungling?

Sometimes your jungler is locked on one side of the map either due to pathing forced by the enemy jungler, invades, or because they want to completely lock out the enemy jungler from having easy access to one of the side lanes.

  1. Wave state

If you're pushed in, a jungler can come however they have to consider; is the wave too big? is a key skill shot reliable in a wave thats built up? Enemy vs. Laner HP difference, could somebody die? If the opponent has priority, what about the 2v2 if the jungler knows the other is near for the counter gank?

  1. Matchup

For example, if you're playing illaoi vs. vlad, there is no reason for the jungler to sit top lane because its much harder for illaoi (or even vlad in this case) to follow up on the gank, and the gain from going to that lane is not that great and is more detrimental to show up on the map and give up dragon or a free gank bot lane for. There's a huge difference between choosing to gank for a riven, kassadin, ezreal, and janna lane because two of these won't bring anything to the table for an easy gank, while riven can snowball and carry the game themselves while the other lanes just farm and scales to win over time. A lane the jungler should prioritize are ones they can easily win 2v2 with, 2v1 obviously, have enough damage to secure the kill (and reliably land it, its a lot easier to gank for a draven or kalista than an ezreal or kog'maw since they both do very little damage early, and in ezreal's case is very unreliable with most of his damage being blocked by minions and dodgable.), and of course CC lanes (what can follow up with more CC, what has the easiest CC to engage with like ryze or Twisted fate? )

  1. Elo

Of course there's also the fact low elo junglers don't base decisions around anything I just said and could being aimlessly walking around or missing opportunities they just didn't realize they could go for. Sometimes you gotta say in champ select 'top should have priority, you may need to counter gank' or 'our bot is thresh + draven, camp that lane and we're golden' as long as you understand champs yourself to make these calls. You can carry your jungler by leading where to go, helping them ward, shoving when they're invading so you have priority incase they do something stupid, etc.

What lane do you play?

Jungle main here.

I'll be honest, it's a trust issue.

you could very well be doing everything right and still not get ganks, it's not that you are not worthy of it but there are alot of factors.

Like who you are Versing. Depending on who im ganking, maybe it's someone that has way more mobility than me and can easily get away with or without flash like say Ahri for example, if i'm playing someone like Volibear I know that unless you got some hard CC i have to rely to make the gank successful on it's almost pointless. I mean the most I could do is maybe get then to run away from you to give you a breath of air and thats it, the problem with that is It might be a better worth of time to gank bot lane or mid depending on who we DON'T want to get fed, like a Yasuo mid or maybe a Vayne

Other times it could be because of who I'm playing as and i'm not confident in myself early on. Like say MasterYi Fiddlesticks Shaco I may AFK farm till level 6 because I feel worthless otherwise. Especially if the enemy has alot of tanks or champs with survivability, and I need to wait till they have low HP that I can capitalise on.

Sometimes it's just too hard or impossible to gank, too many wards? Heimerdinger mid is suicide to gank on, Teemo top once he hits 6 can be hard as shit to gank.

then it maybe because they are too fed, and I know most think it would make logical sense to try to shut down the fed champ, but sometimes they can IN FACT 1v2 and kill both you and your jungler, making it even worse, then it becomes a risk to come help even though maybe I should have been there earlier.

There's A Lot of decision making as a jungler, and though some choices look painfully obvious to you, it may not be so to us. Sometimes the support misses a grab or stun, sometimes the top lane loses lane, sometimes the jungler made bad decisions that game.

Hope this answers your question.

It could also be they're power farming or sticking to a specific route that puts them where they need to be in taking objectives. You need to think about what are your junlgers goals and priorities. A kill on top lane or Mountain Dragon? You could always play less aggressively and let your laner push and freeze the lane so when they're done with their things they'll see a much more likable gank opportunity.

Because if junglers leave the jungle on anything but a 100% gank they potentially lose the entire game for your team. They're in a very sensitive state at the moment (which is why so many are getting autofilled into JG as JG mains file out)
