If Singed runs away from you to make you chase him:
Then you are facing a bad Singed and probably won't have a lot of trouble dealing with him.
When I play Singed, I only run away if I am low health and don't think I'll win a protracted duel/fight/ambush. If they chase me, great use it; but if they don't, still run. Running away is primarily to save my own life. It is NOT a valid combat tactic.
Singed has amazing movement speed and easily underestimated damage. He is best used the same way many of his archetype are: by getting in your face and sticking there. A good Singed will use his movement speed as an asset, not an escape or a bait. He will kite circles around you, close you in to poison clouds, choke off your escape options. If you try to escape, you will get glued and thrown back in to the poison to wither choke and die. But he will do this actively, he will stay on your grill. A good Singed will not run from you, a good Singed will make sure you can't escape him.
I just felt compelled to say this because I've seen a few posts suggesting Singed get a rework because "all he does is run away and bait you to chase him". I don't think he needs a rework because organized teams can peel him off without a lot of trouble, and I don't think enough people realize that a Singed who relies too much on enemies chasing him is a **bad **one. A good Singed will use his kit actively, not just run away and hope you follow.
Besides his early game presence is just the god damned worst, you guys. It's kind of like playing against an enemy Nasus, the window of opportunity to crush a fast win is pretty substantial.
and walk up to my enemies and run circles around them. I think Singed is a great champion as he is. Singed loses a lot of matchups, and his teamfights aren't the best, but you're playing Singed, so you splitpush to annoy and send numerous memebers of their team after you. This usually ends up in free dragons, barons, and picks for your team.
