autofilled supports should learn Taric

idk why you haven't already, he should be a pocket pick regardless

taric fits into nearly any comp, does almost everything you want a support to do (no poke, his only lacking) and is by far one of the best if not the #1 support in late game teamfights thanks to constant AOE heals and stuns and his invuln ult. and he's got pretty decent damage output even without items like iceborn, as long as you've got the mana pool to sustain it

he's easy to learn and easy to master, and unlike thresh he isn't pick/ban so you're pretty likely to get him if you need him.

o and he's also a viable top lane/jungler after patch 7.14 so you can pocket him for 3 roles

That's... Not how supporting works.

He is also probably the easiest champion in the game to win from behind on. I won a game yesterday when my team was 7.3k gold behind and a few days ago with a team kill score of 44-59. He is great at stalling out games because of how good he is at protecting his team and as was already stated in the OP, he is the strongest late game support. Another thing about him is that you don't need minions to finish games. This is how I won those 2 games while being behind by so much. As of 7.14, Taric can tank 2 towers at once indefinitely without dropping below 100% health.

Everyone should just learn Janna or Soraka. All you do is spam a couple of abilities and ult when necessary.

  1. I work very well with nearly every champion in the game, but it's who I am against that is a problem. Anything that has a kiting mechanic, long range and mobility are things I struggle with. Ezreal has all of these and is my hardest opponent to face because he has all of these tools and can build both AD or AP making it hard to itemize against him.

  2. Yes, I do have a very strong late game but the problem is getting there. The recent buffs were quite helpful but early game I still have mana issues and the "buff" came with a minor nerf to my early game. My dazzle now deals less damage meaning my level 1 got weaker. I am encouraged to play more passively early on because of this and snowball outside of the laning phase.

  3. I am easy to learn, but not to master. Learning things like flash + E and to use the two auto attack buffs after each spell cast come fairly easily. What is hard is predicting where your partner is going to be and what angle to shoot your dazzle at in order to ensure a hit and also the timing of the ultimate. Too early and the enemy team backs off. Too late and they will attempt to burst me or my teammate down. There are easier supports to master than myself.

  4. I have always been viable in both top and jungle. Before the rework I was arguably the best Riven counter in the game and my jungling was similar to Fiddlesticks in that I was highly dependent on blue buff for my clears. Now I am less reliant on blue buff, that's really it.
