Honestly speaking, he isn't good at all, he gets ahead he will curb stomp the shit out of you and your team, he falls behind and he becomes a cannon minion on his own team.

Can Darius get a buff of some kind? He's in a bad spot right now.

And yes, if you get a pull you have a higher chance of a kill, if you miss it you're a lifesteal target for 20ish seconds.
