Currently, Aatrox can't benefit from

all that well since his E and R do not deal physical damage. I think it would be better if these dealt physical damage for extra synergy with the items Aatrox buys.

Meep Man2 votesIf Aatrox himself has a small playerbase, I can't imagine how small his AP player base is. No offense, but I would rather a champion's normal build be able to stand on two feet and discard an off-build/make it less strong than have the off-build and normal build be below average.

Meep Man1 votesOh, I didn't realize a Chain Mail countered any of the other champions with only physical damage. You're right, we can't have a champion deal only one kind of damage, I can't think of any others that deal only one kind of damage that are viable right now.
Orangesilk1 votesI mean, mixed damage gives an extremely strong lane presence since it's hard to itemize against. Of course it's possible to be oppressive without mixed damage, but Aatrox would have to get some major laning phase buffs in compensation.

The problem with it is that after 1 mr item these spells no longer deal damage since they don't scale(Massacre) or scale shitty scaling(Blades of Torment) and you don't have any magic pen.

SennaFirstPick1 votesi like the fact that they do magic damage, but the scaling needs to be with ad. either they could make that R reduces armor for the late game spicy teamfight and fucking give his E another skillshot from, or maybe increase its speed. they could as well give him more base speed and increase health scaling. this would probably bring top aatrox in line with other laners.
