Ult + Red Smite + Death's Dance, does Alistar take damage from anything except Death's Dance?

Think of it this way.
Hypothetically, you have 50% damage reduction. So, you take 50% damage in total.
If you get a different 50% damage reduction, you'll take 25% damage in total, because 25% is half of 50%.

12% Phantom Dancer gives 17.592%.
