Is it meta to complain about certain champions

I just remember season 3 and even 4 where I would say "Thresh shouldn't be able to play the role of an almost blitzcrank while still be able to pull out team mates out of their mistakes" or "Vayne does too much damage" and people would nag me for being Bronze (still am, rip) but I look today and people are complaining about the champs that people laughed at you for calling OP. Vayne hasn't had a major change in 2 seasons now, Same with Thresh, so why are people complaining about them, is it meta to complain about certain champions even though they have had no serious change?

The serious change is that they keep on nerfing other supports and the guy is left completely untouched for a stupid amount of time (last nerf was in S4 spring split)

Basically this. Vayne isn't technically stronger now than she was a couple seasons ago, there are just a lot of other marksmen that have been nerfed. She is now capable of keeping up with a lot of the adcs that are supposed to push her out of lane, after which she out-scales them.

As long as the same people pick the same darn champions and spam the same no mana cost low cooldown high damage utility spells, there will be the same people to comlain about the same seasons on end meta champs.
