So...How are Shaco boxes SUPPOSED TO WORK?

I remember when I used to face Camille, I would place boxes on walls so when she used her E to them she'd hit a box and be feared. Now I'm noticing that interaction was removed and now she doesn't get feared until after she stuns you. There are other interactions I've noticed that have been changed as well. Can I get some clarification because this is kinda messing with my head because I dunno what works like it should and what doesn't anymore.

shacos w takes time to arm so if you w the same time she e's then that wont work

No, I placed them beforehand, she still stunned me
