Annie R balance

I was on an earlier thread I made today discussing Annie's R and its instant R and I asked if it would impact her if she got a 0.75 second delay on her ult a few people didnt mind http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/TzwchgFF-people-think-annies-tibbers-stun-is-op-because-its-istant

Tsugaga (NA) - about 4 hours ago Annie is one of my favorite champs, I don't think her ult needs a cast time. If it ever did get a cast time then I'd also want the way it's cast to be changed too. Currently Tibbers just appears and after summoned Annie still has Tibbers spellbound in her hand for some reason. If she got a cast time then I'd like the range to be increased, at least just +25 range so it matches her Q and W range, and her cast animation change to her kind of lobbing or tossing Tibbers from her hand to the target.

I think the cast time would work and a little compensation for range on her ult would be fine also I would love for Tibbers to fly out of her hand and get summoned instead of being summoned out of nowhere because it makes more sense.I will now show a picture of what the extra range on Annie's ult would look like

(The black marker is the range buff)

Here is how Annie should throw out Tibbers(Skip to 3:29)

And for this new change one more think kinda of like a little easter egg Annie has a rare chance to say

"I guess you can't catch them all" when tibbers dies (pokemon reference) or "Come back Tibbers you tried your best" when Tibbers dies (pokemon reference)

Example (Dont make fun of my Annie voice xD) https://www.speakpipe.com/voice-recorder/msg/2rb2avgaybodwkkl

Instead of balancing R they should change her passive so she won't be able to hold her stun forever.

Doesn't sound too bad what do you have in mind for passive?

like, have the stun for 6 or 7 secs?

If they did that they would need to reduce the amount of spells she casts to activate her passive. Right now she is balanced around having 1 stun after she uses her entire kit. If you take away her ability to hold it like she does it would create other balance issue as you would severly hit her reliability.

Although I want to know why there is so much hate for Annie and her stun. This isn't something that is unique to herm. Sona has an instant AoE stun, Lissandra has an instant stun with AoE slow attached, Cho has instant AoE silence, Yasuo has instant AoE knock-up with his E+Q, I could go on. So many champs have instant CC and AoE CC why is Annie the one getting all this hate for hers?

Make it like Vel'Kozby's passive: Three spellcasts on the same target stuns them for a duration. Bam. Rewarded for comboing without having a constant, unavoidable pressure on whoever she's laning against when that dumb little particle pops up.

this would make her stun only work when her ult is available as she must use 3 offensive spells to trigger it

not a good idea i think

I wouldnt that makes her justified to have a stun that lasts indefinitely. Two out of the three spells she doesnt need to land on a target, you can and people tend to often charge spells in fountain, on the way to lane, in bushes, etc. and hold on to that stun until the right moment. This passive should have been adjusted a while ago because being able to free use two spells with NO interaction with an enemy and be rewarded an indefinite stun is ridiculous. I wouldnt mind reducing the amount of spells by one, maybe two but giving the stun a timer is definitely warranted and if they dont give a timer, only spells that hit targets should be allowed to count twoard the counter.

Actually I think this is the first time someone on the board proposed an Annie change that I wouldn't mind. Changing her passive to only charge when she hits a target, minions or champs, but still let her hold the stun I would actually be fine with, I would add that her E should charge her stun if she is in combat as well but not out of combat.

A change like that would go a long way in getting Annie out of bot lane, which is where I feel most of the complaining about her stun is coming from.

Ok and you guys forget that she can just chill at 3 stacks and then just Q and E right as the Q's traveling for a surprise stun.

lol wut?

Incinerate has a cast delay but flashing out of it doesn't prevent it from hitting you as it's technically "instant." It assigns the hit to everything in range, regardless of whether they're still in range when it finishes. Darius's E has similar issues.

"MY FIREBALL IS FOLLOW YOU TO YOUR DEATH!" - Annie using Q when Enemy flashed away.

Honestly, she needs three changes IMO before proper buffing can occur to make her legitimately powerful instead of cheaply powerful...

Passive: her stun effect only lasts for 10 seconds. No more holding it indefinitely. W: hitscan needs to happen when it actually casts, not when it starts channeling (this affects other things like Cho's silence as well as it's wonkiness in coe AoE abilities) R: delay, as mentioned above.

After these changes, should could be buffed in such a way that her power doesn't just feel cheap.

The issue is if she ever misses her ult on someone, she will most likely[ fail to kill that individual and also be close enough to be killed by either her target, or an assassin next to her.

Annie has powerful point and click tools, but her range hurts her a lot, That makes her predictable and can be gotten around. Many skill shot champions or champions who go untargetable would definitely win over even skilled annies who attempt to land their R on them, especially as an initiation tool (as opposed to her W or her Q.) Mind you, her W is also instant as well, and does stun and damage, instantly

Putting a cast time on it would nearly demand putting compensation elsewhere (such as a larger AoE W), or something of the like. Her kit, besides numbers, has been literally unchanged since season 1, Why suddenly complain about it now? (More importantly, what about Anivia, who's kit has also been unchanged since season 1, and desperately needs help in making her combos and damage more accessible and less reliant on luck or extreme skill)
