You know, despite this meta we're in right now, I can't complain too much regarding my main.
To start, I'm a
main with a little over 360K mastery on him (Yes, I'm also silver 2, but I don't play too much; I keep to a personal rule not to play the same game for too long otherwise I risk getting burned out so I'll play maybe once or twice a week)
despite the high damage meta that has become League of Legends Season 8, I think I can say that it's been nice for a Karthus main. Maybe it's because of the fact that the meta favors damage dealers and that's exactly what Karthus's entire kit is designed for, or maybe because of the fact that because of the damage meta, Karthus can get away with Dying most of the time due to his passive; albeit it's not what I try to aim for, it's still something lol.
I mean, there's still the occasional frustrating match-up I can't really deal with sometimes, I've found that Aatrox is currently annoying to me when I go top (although from the looks of it, he's annoying to everyone LUL) and I now have to ban LB every game otherwise it's an instant loss because I can't do anything against her while inside my minion wave or not, but that's pretty much standard for this game isn't it? And, while I'm saying I can't complain too much right now, there are still a couple problems with a couple abilities. It'd be nice to get the Syndra Treatment for Karthus's q so it doesn't feel so bad AND it would be better on Riot's end because it would supposedly get rid of his Q buffering issues they tried to fix, and W is still too expensive for early game so most of the time it's often better to hold off on leveling it up until level 7 unless you're expecting jungle ganks from either team (plus, it's still bugged where it doesn't give vision at the poles whilst in passive). Coming from me however, these are just minor nitpicks from an otherwise ok and perhaps even Sleeper OP champion right now.
I'm interested, tell me your thoughts on what you think of Karthus right now and please leave feedback on the opinions I gave, it'd be nice to hear from other people. :)
