Does anyone else despise Wukong

Just... why is he in the game? No I'm sorry if you take this as a QQ post, but I need to let off some steam somehow! Every time I see this guy on the other I die i bit inside because I know I have to face with his bullshit and possibly get stomped. Really the thing that makes me so pissed off about him is that he's clarified as a fighter tank. Tank. TAAAANNNKK! How the fuck is this champion, pretty much going full AD half the time I play against him and just deleting people and entire teams, a secondary tank?!?! Seriously this guy is not a tank, he's a god damn assassin. What other fighter tanks do you know of that have invisibility/stealth or whatever the fuck it is nowadays? I know there are other champions that I should hate like (I do hate these champions) but Wukong is just one of those champions that just consistently gets under my skin but seems like he doesn't for anyone else.

wukong is actually dogshit lmfao. He is extremenly item relient and he needs lvl 11 to be a real threat to anyone. His lane is attrocious and his lvl 2 cheese with tld ign only works to bad players. he is semi viable atm with lethality builds but all you need is a single exh and he is done for.

How laning with Wukong works:

Step 1:

Be completely worthless levels 1-5

Step 2:

Try to farm up a item 3134 by level 6 and then try to all in them. If you cant all-in them at 6, congrats! You are worthless for the rest of lane

Matchups:

Darius : absolutely shits on Wukong. Not even close. If you die to a Wukong in a 1v1 you colossally fucked up.

Poppy Maokai Nautilus Malphite Sion : Shit on Wukong as soon as you get a item 1031

Yasuo : Dumps on Wukong level 1-5 then dies to his level 6 all in. Completely outscale him and return to dumpstering him in the mid to late game

Jayce : HAHAHAHAHAHAHA /ff20

Riven : Shits on Wu at all stages Renekton : See Darius Jayce Riven

He has huge mana issues. item 2033 is only a bandaid. He has the 9th lowest level 1 mana pool in the game at 266. A single rotation of his basic abilities (assuming only rank 1 abilities) costs 135 mana

He's classified as a secondary tank because of his passive. You can actually become quite tanky if you build the right items on him.

Building 0 armor when he's super far ahead and going full lethality seems like your main problem though, not so much the champion :>)

....ok, I'll admit the no armor lethality is usually what i hate about this champ. However, Wukong himself is just annoying and still very misleading to me because he's still classified as a tank.

Tanks to my definition are champions that have a fair amount of CC, large health and toughness. Wukong on the other hand, outside of the first knockup on his ult, has almost no other CC and can just benefit from defense stats just by getting into team fights while not really building any armor or health items.

As well, how many fighter tanks do you know that have an stealth decoy bullshit or a gap closer? These aspects of him constantly lead me believing that he's more of a fighter assassin than a fighter tank, which Riot's continue to classify him as and it just continues to piss me off.

Tank secondaries do not have to fall exactly within that line, they can be extremely squishy and not provide CC if they don't build tank items and that's perfectly fine. Examples of that are Aatrox, Camille, Shyvana just to name a few.

That being said -- why does it matter what champions are classified as? So what if wukong is more of an assassin now thanks to the lethality items?

U dont say. He isnt a tank, he's useless when build tank. And yeah its a QQ topic. Wukong isnt so strong unless in low elo, just played by one trick.

Unnecessary story: My favorite melee Champs (I usually prefer ranged both gameplay and fantasy wise) were Trundle and GP. They were both reworked and I no longer liked GP at all, and I Liked Trundle less than before. Then they were both nerfed over and over.

Then my favorite melee Champs were Shaco and Fizz. They were both reworked and I no longer liked Fizz at all, and Shaco a lot less. And shaco is being nerfed over and over.

Then my favorite melee champions were WW and Wukong. WW was reworked and I like him a lot less, but at least more than GP and Fizz. They already confirmed Wukong to be a diver receiving significant changes in the diver update.

Soon you will not have to worry about Wukong (unless his rework Rengars him or something) and I will be left enjoying no melee Champs besides rammus and malphite, and even they are not amazingly appealing to me.
