I feel like if jungle gets nerfed top will be the next strongest lane.

The top Challenger spots belong to a few top mains, and once junglers are less absurd, they will no longer be able to stop toplaners.

Which means tops could probably splitpush uninhibited.

And with games as short as they are (27-28 minute average) and adcs doing no damage until ~25 minutes in tops have nothing but time to shine.

I think it could really happen.

I feel top lane has lacked agency for a while now and I feel it is it's "turn".

I do not want the "me 1v1 everyone split push like a boss" and "counter duelist with duelist because otherwise lose towers lose game to split push" to be the only top lane solution.

(despite how you top lane players like playing them duelists)

I would like top lane to be a place from which you can roam mid, or challenge the enemy jungle, or develop a tank and go team fight in the mid game OR develop a split pusher or dominate the lane early / snowball. I would like ALL of these solutions to top lane to be viable.

I do not want a situation where either you have a good duelist, or you lose to the split push.

Don't most of these guys play Riven also? Riven happens to have absurdly broken and commonly abused bug, which allows her to ignore some forms of CC. I wouldn't be surprised that in challenger she becomes nigh unbeatable.
