Patch Notes 8.7, Cho'Gath and aura items

In the patch notes of patch 8.7 was mentioned that the aura of some items (e.g. Abyssal Mask) will increase with Cho'Gath's size. Well, while I was playing my first game after 8.7, I felt something was off.

A friend and I did some investigation on this and found out that none of the aura items have their auras increased according to his size. As a result, his auto-attack range at max size (which is 200) is still further than the aura radius (which is about 175). Even with Lulu's ult the aura radius still remains the same.

Maybe this change has intentionally not been implemented yet, so maybe a Rioter can clarify this for me? Thank you in advance.

I didn't feel like the special exclusion of frozen heart from the aura changes was necessary.

Even auto attacks are determined by the outside of your character model. You can actually use the elixir of iron, get larger, and your auto attack area increases. Although you are also more hit-able by incoming autos and skillshots in return.

Maybe large auras Should be a special Cho'gath quirk. Frozen heart is a very ideal item on him. Such synergy should be celebrated. It adds a special appreciation to Cho'Gath-ness
