@Riot Any Plans For Twitch?

He's utterly outclassed and has a plethora of weaknesses. He's not only inferior to other end game ADCs, he isn't worth using over early game ADCs.

This is highly indicative of a problem within him, not context or other champions. Are there any plans to give him a reason to live any time soon?

Twitch actually sits firmly in the middle in terms of ADC power. He's not weak, but he's not strong enough to be picked over Ashe, Cait, Jinx, Trist etc.

If you think he's weak, I suggest you get better at playing him. You're a Silver player, what qualifies you to comment on how strong a champion is?

Logically fallacious argument. The person speaking has no bearing on the validity of the comments being made. If I were to say dropping my mouse would cause it to fall because of the force of gravity, I would be making a correct statement. The fact I am not a physicist does not make my claim any less valid. Point being, attack the argument, not the speaker.

In addition, he's not exactly in the middle. If he were, he should be a viable option instead of using an early game ADC of roughly equivalent overall power. Currently, he's outclassed by other hyperscalers, and still isn't a good choice over early game ADCs. That is highly indicative of a problem within him, and not simply how he stands compared to his competition.

I have contemplated that it is merely skill-dependent, but he seems to be lackluster at most levels of play. I can cite a Diamond player who stated he isn't worth using, if that would add credibility to the point I'm trying to make. If your statement were true, the following claim (Since rank evidently supersedes logic) is reasonable to post as a refutation:

I agree with CTElephant. Twitch is extremely overnerfed in my opinion (myself being an ex Twitch main myself). His E and Q are just not nearly what they used to be. At the time, Twitch was steamrolling matches and ELOs, so Riot more or less just had to get rid of him. He has since gotten a few small buffs, but he may not get another buff or rework for a while now. As of right now, the meta is shifting further from the tank meta and tbh, this will be bad for Twitch. He is one of the most vulnerable ADCs in the game at the moment. He will lose most duels (unless extremely ahead).

My best advice to you, if you're still interested in playing Twitch, would be to get ahead early. Maybe run a kill lane (you have to mention this in pre-game chat to make sure you and your support will be on the same page), and from there try to get ahead. Twitch in the early and mid game just doesn't bring much to the table compared to META carries. However, if you can get to the late game, he's one of the strongest carries.

I'd recommend against maining him unless you're in Bronze 5 -- Gold 2 range, where people don't know how to counter him very well. Anywhere beyond that and people start to know how to play against him more properly and playing him effectively will be much too difficult.

Keep in mind that any champion in the game with enough skill and experience can be extremely viable. If you really love playing Twitch, don't let the META stop you from enjoying yourself. I used to be a big fan of Vampyro (used to be a diamond 1 Twitch only main, since the Twitch nerf he's dropped to Diamond V, which shows how devastating the nerf was to skilled players), but I'm also a big fan of a guy named Wuggs, who's a silver 5 Twitch main.

It really just comes down to how serious you are about ranked/wins and how much you love playing Twitch. If you have a good time while playing him and don't mind having a few bad games here and there, then go for it. I myself got to diamond 4 with Twitch back in season 3, but since the nerfs I could barely find myself playing at a plat 2 level with him. I wish you a good day sir and hope that this comment somehow helped you :) gl and hf on the field.

Bottom of Diamond V last season, and he hasn't even played any games in the current meta. Given how little he's played this season, I wouldn't be surprised if he was low Plat in skill level at the current time.

Why is it a problem? He's average in both respects, I agree, but that's a fine tradeoff for his unparalleled surprise attack potential, when if used correctly (i.e. without dying) can completely control games. He's not weak at any point in the game, meaning he has the potential to outplay any situation.

I wouldn't pick Twitch in arranges 5s, but in soloQ he's as strong as ever.
