Talon and LB got their silence removed because it lacked counterplay. Meanwhile Chogath....

That silence hitbox silence hitbox and duration is ridiculous. He can silence your whole team, knock you up and then eat you for 1000+ true damage. Totally balanced. If talon and LB got their silence removed for being able to delete people without resistance then Chogath should too or the very least reduce the range on that silence.

it's range is like 550 or something, not that great, also chogath can't blink out of the fog of war 100-0 you and peace out. also tenactiy is op.

what kind of elo would your team chogath be in to not silence you when you go for cs

He knocks you up, slows and silences you. Meanwhile, you cant fight back while he walks up to you and eats you. And tenacity totally reduces the duration of knockups.

Talon and Leblanc especially are mobile.

People whine about mobility endlessly then compain when immobile champions get nice things.

Two words for Cho'gath: NO MOBILITY.

Also if Talon + Le Blanc had their silences they would be mobile silences.

Cho'gath, I agree is a bit OP. His AP ratios are just nuts. I mean, a 1 second knockup with 100% AP ratio and slow, a 1.5-2.5 second silence with a 70% AP ratio, a basic attack buff that causes AOE damage and extra damage that has a 30% AP ratio, and an ult that deals 300-650 + 70% AP TRUE damage. His only weakness is mobility, which I personally don't give a rats' ass about if he can 1v1 most anyone anyway, or at least, keep people off his ass with all his CC.

The only thing I hate about Cho'Gath are his ridiculous ratios, along with his extreme tankiness. He can build a lot of AP items, and still be extremely tanky, not to mention his ult is true damage. I'd rather not see his silence leaves, but he needs a trade off for his damage output compared to his tankiness. It's a bit over the top.

in the case of leblanc and talon, they could easily burst you down before the silence even wore off. unless you're really low to begin with, cho's silence only gives him a small window of time to deal as much damage as he can but first he has to land his q (which has a delay) then get in range to ult you, by then the silence should already be gone since he has no mobility.

No, cause his silence is his WHOLE SPELL. The others had a silence on top of a spell. He is just fine. Learn to stay out of his hitbox or ban him, or even get MR to counter. Goodness.

Simple fix: Silence works against casters, no against melee/adcs.... ggwp
