Season 5 Jungle, did it work?

I started playing LoL the week Lux came out. Since then I've always felt that jungle tends to migrate towards junglers who can make a difference in the lane early (season 3/4 lee sin, elise, shudder jg alistar). Tank junglers have always kinda been shut out by these champions. It seemed like Riot wanted to change that with S5, but the equilibrium seems to be returning.

Am I going crazy? I feel like the jungle is right back to the same as S4 (except for the drgn and baron changes). Tank junglers still kinda don't work. Lee sin, elise and eve are back. FF/devourer is making people cry in solo que.

Just looking for some other perspectives on this I guess. I sure wish I could play JG mundo again :(

The nerfs to Cinderhulk hurt tanks pretty harshly, that said Warrior and Magus have always been shitty, the only jungle item that even feels worth the money at the moment is Devourer, needless to say Devourer junglers are at the top right now. However yea othr than that the junglers that get picked most are just the ones that can babysit laners like Jarvan or Pantheon. I think a big issue for junglers is mid ganking, Amumu could get played sometime, but someone like Volibear just sucks at ganking mid (Ofc he's bullshit enough to be able to dive most champs after level 4) if you can't geank mid, and the enemy can, you're mid laner is probably gonna feed hard because people suck at LoL.

I just lost a game for that exact reason. I was playing jg teemo, which makes your team tilt in general, but my midlaner just played like I was there to protect them all the time. Their Lee Sin just had his way with her. I don't like playing mid, but when I do, I never die to ganks because all the popular midlane champs can just wave-clear with complete safety.

I get the advantage of being able to snowball your lanes, but I feel like it's the most important thing right now and it's boring to have to babysit everyone.
