Im just gonna get into it: How good is kalista right now? Solo Q worthy? Strongest Solo Q Top and Mid Laners? Is ezreal good in the meta atm? Should I play irelia? Im realizing that these are a lot of weird questions Should I play picks that are in worlds? Alright I can't do anything else.
Kalista is a disappointment right now. One slow in a team-fight stops her from kiting effectively while every other ADC would be fine without her passive.
Pantheon boasts a 55% win rate in top lane. Quinn is also a good choice in solo Q for her high win rate and roam potential. Quinn doesn't require teleport and can use ignite instead. Thanks to her ultimate she can gank any lane when ahead and can be bot lane in 10 seconds or so, similar goes for Pantheon. Riven, Darius and Gnar are the highest picked Top laners. Annie and Pantheon mid are the highest win rate mid laners and Twisted Fate is one of the highest pick.
Ezreal is in the meta 
your team will call you a shitter if you build Triforce.
Irelia is good.
Not really. Picks that were chosen in worlds are based on which pro mains something(Mata's Alistar) and champions that are strong for teamfights. This is why Rumble is chosen because he's very good in those organized jungle fights where everyone has comms and can plan it out. It's also why they choose Braum because he's incredibly good at invading if you ever need to and his passive is broken.
How good is kalista right now? Solo Q worthy?
Requires a lot of coordination between her and her support, so don't solo queue with her. But, in the right hands, she's broken.
Strongest Solo Q Top and Mid Laners?
I'd say a really good Riven for top, maybe Gnar. For mid, anyone with a lot of AoE damage and CC, like Syndra or Ziggs.
Is ezreal good in the meta atm?
Always has been, always will be. Triforce is more damage than IBG, but both builds are cancerous.
Should I play irelia?
Only if you find clicking on people and winning for no reason fun.

Play what you want to. Worlds champs aren't always the best, since they rely a lot on teamwork in Worlds.
