Dont know what role to play

Hey, I recently have been trying to climb out of bronze and have found lots of success using bard support. In fact, I was on a 9 win winstreak. Until today where I got 2 teammates in 2 separate games that fed after being slightly behind. This finally made me think, was I carrying as bard? Or was it just a lucky streak? Thus, I went to flex que and try something new. That game of flex I went as akali mid and had so much fun dealing damage. What im trying to say is, I enjoy support but I hate the lack luster damage given out. Many will recommend , and for damage supports, but the one support that i really enjoy and have fun with is bard. Especially with this que, If I do support, mid or mid, support as my choices, 90% of the time I will get support. So what role should I play?

all roles can climb and all champs can climb

While many people say "PLay dps to climb, gotta carry your team." There are a lot of diamond 1 tricks that play just about anything. If you're hitting a winstreak you're definitely doing something right and I would suggest you continue at it. I primarily hit gold from low silver with supports and tank junglers almost every season. Nautilus, Sona, Morgana, Sejuani, certainly no one's first picks for "Champs to get out of bronze with" but if played right they're monsters. If bard is your man get there~ He definitely can make some serious plays happen.

If you're looking for high damage supports your picks are certainly good ideas but I would suggest perhaps looking into supports like Sona or Soraka. Both can be very snowbally and aggressive while providing ample utility and healing. I find playing mages botlane primarily for damage just leaves me wanting for real builds on them. I just can't do it, so I play mage supports instead of support mages. That makes sense, doesn't it?

Support can easily carry man and bard is in a pretty good place since he got buffed so if your heart is saying bard, then I say play bard <3 I genuinely think that playing a champ and a role that you love will have climbing faster than if you were trying to play whatever you think might help. More fun = better time. Especially if you're in bronze mate, best to play what you're really interested in.

When Taric got reworked I played him and climbed from b5 to g5 in a season, and the thing was, I didn't notice the games/ranks going by cuz it didn't really matter. I was playing a champ I found really fun so win or lose I usually had a good time.

Just like a good taric ult, a good bard ult can change games :)
