I love how yasuo can completely invalidate 2 entire classes of champions with one ability.
Gut

What classes, and which ability?
If you're talking about the wind wall I'm not sure you realize that it has a cooldown. Even with CDR it cannot invalidate ranged champions.
So its fair because it "has a cooldown"?
If I had a skill that did 100% of your max hp in true damage, and it had a 200 second cd, does that make it fair?
Yes lol :P
Really? How exactly did you manage to put so many words in my mouth? Honestly I'm rather impressed. Disappointed too, but impressed none the less.
In case you haven't noticed, which considering the content of your reply to me I'd say that's a fair bet, there's a rather large difference between saying something is fair and saying it doesn't invalidate two entire classes of champion. I only said the latter.
Thats a lot of words to try to insult me, and zero to actually try to back up your argument.
Continue embarassing yourself.
I'm embarrassing myself because I said one thing, you claimed that I said another, and I stated that I didn't say what you think I said?
Well aren't you a special one. I'll say it in simple terms so it's easy to understand.
I did not say wind wall was fair. I said it does not make people useless. Understand now?
The wall reduces ALL ranged champions damage to zero.
A ranged champion dealing zero damage is useless.
Simple enough for you?
No, we're not changing the subject. You decided to put words in my mouth that I did not say, so I'm not letting you escape back to the main topic so easily.
You said that I think wind wall is fair. I never said this. Why exactly would you make up something like that and stick to it with such adamance?
You're not actually here for a discussion are you? I'm all for a good argument about wind wall and it's strength against certain classes, that's why I posted here after all. Thing is I'm not going to have that conversation with you unless you admit what you did and apologize for it.
I doubt that will happen, so I'll just wait until someone who actually wants to discuss things comes along, rather than someone who can't even recognize what the person they are talking to is actually saying.
Have a nice day.
So many words Im not going to read. The only one changing the subject is you, since Im talking about the wall and youre talking about who-knows-what-and-I-dont-even-care.
Yeah... No.
You changed the subject from "does yasuo invalidate two classes of champion" to "is wind wall fair". You did that, not me. You made the incorrect assumption about what I said, where as I actually read your posts.
If you're not even going to try please leave me alone, I'd rather wait for notifications from people who put some effort into their posts.
looking at caítlyn's recent posts, I think he might be a troll baiting a response

Caitlyn is a super salty person, ignore them for the most part. Wind wall IS incredibly powerful, and needs to be changed, as it mostly invalidates immobile adc champions and many projectile-based mages (hi xerath) It's disgusting how long it lasts, as well as it's advancement, and the length of it makes it ungodly strong.
Let's discuss :)
Personally I don't think it invalidates anyone, even champions who are primarily projectile based. At max rank it has an 18 second cooldown before CDR, which gives it a fairly significant downtime. With max CDR it's around 10-11 seconds, depending on if you have the extra 5% from that mastery.
Since the marksman itemization changes it's been a bit easier for Yasuo to itemize for max CDR, so I definitely think it should be considered for a nerf. A just under 4 second pause to enemy projectiles every 10 seconds is a bit excessive. CDR puts it on par with Braum, who has to take a fair portion of the damage his wall blocks. Sure he gets to move his around, but I don't really consider that an equal trade off compared to completely negating the damage.
Perhaps the cooldown could start after the wind wall has finished, or as suggested in another thread perhaps the wind wall should consume whatever Flow Yasuo has. The latter suggestion would make it so dealing damage to Yasuo would either disable or weaken the wind wall, and add a small level of additional play around the ability.
So to sum it up I feel the cooldown it has before CDR makes it a relatively balanced ability. It's definitely strong, but a 14 second down time is a nice sized opening to work around. With CDR it has a down time of 6-7 seconds, which would definitely make it worthy of some sort of nerf.
I could have sworn that only Xerath's E could be blocked by Windwall due to the other skills being linear AoE damage skillshot (Q), and two AoE vertical drop skillshots (W & R). Was I mistaken?

Nope, you're right :) Im saying wind wall doesn't mess up xerath
I was trying to read it on my phone at the time and the way it reads (bold part primarily):

It kinda makes it looked like your saying it does. Or at least to me it did. >_<

Yes, it does derp My thought process was that people would emphasize the word most while reading, but even I was confused for a second. The xerath part was me saying most isn't all. I am good English yes?
Very yes!
if you can't play around his wall (literally u can walk around it) then the yasuo deserves to win
Does that sound remotely balanced?
Like sorry but you are using exaggeration to the max level. Honestly yasuo is probably going to block your first rotation with his W. Otherwise, I mean it has a 22 second cooldown level 1 and no smart person puts points into that spell until they absolutely have to. Not to mention yasuo does not usually have CDR in his build.
Punish the fucker when his W is on cooldown. If he just " made 2 entire classes useless " why doesn't he always win lane?
I love how he can block literally everyones ultimate in the entire game. With a normal skill with zero cost.
Almost everyones

just to name a few :)
A few more
sorry one more
Mundo uses his ult when he pleases
With no mention for Braum, who is a tank, can do the exact same thing, stun, slow, knock-up AND move?
Braum takes the damage (all be it reduced) and with his shield, which helps it feel significantly better to play against.
One part of Yasuo's Wind Wall that's particularly annoying is how often it feels like he just screwed up with it, but it's fine. Videos of him throwing the wind wall the complete wrong direction and it still blocking projectiles are common. Videos of him not reacting, the projectile image on top of him, then hitting wind wall and being fine because it covers his whole body on spawn are also out there.
I spam Xerath in Ranked, so I get to mostly ignore both abilities, but hands down I prefer Braum's to Yasuo's.
Yep yasuo throws out W and anyone with a skillshot or heavy AA should just afk.
It has a cooldown xD
