Why don't more people get black cleaver on corki?

Corki deals a lot of magic damage because of his spells, he actually deals comparatively less physical damage to other ADCs, so it isn't really worth it. I think Black Cleaver has a lot of wasted stats for ADCs in general unless you're like, MF or something.

It does put you into close range to apply the armor shred which would be pretty lousy for an ADC and his Gatling Gun is the only ability he has that applies the Cleaver debuff. I experimented with it some in ARAM when there was more than 1 ADC in the mode but that was before Triforce got buffed up in Season 3.

It's better leave the applying of Black Cleaver debuffs to Pantheon/Wukong/Garen/etc.

Hmmmm...can't think of a reason why i would build BC when these exist...

I don't play corki alot, but pretty much the only carries that really benefit from BC are Cait, Graves, Sivir, Quinn, and maybe Ashe? But you wouldn't buy it on a carry, they are all auto centric so they would pick up LW before BC even for the stats.

I wouldn't buy it because it has 10% less penetration than the last whisper, you have to stack it to reach the full potential, and the stacks can fall off. corkis e is the only meaningful way to apply it in my opinion, which means once his e goes on cd(16) it is more difficult for him to reach 25% penetration. Remember since he is a caster aDC and how powerful his magic damage is. You won't be building shiv, phantom, or Berserkers, he scales better with raw ad. Overall it is a weaker choice in my opinion.
