client and champ select features

It'd be really cool if you could create custom search filters for champion select. You can already filter champs by role by typing, say, "Marksman" in the search bar instead of a champion's name. I'd like to see the same capability but with user-defined tags. For example, if I'm playing mid and I want to consider only the champions in my mid pool, I'd type "mid" into the search bar, and this would pop up:

...instead of having to filter for "mage" or "assassin" individually and see choices I don't want at the moment.

I honestly want to see this change pushed along with a new client; the game really deserves and frankly needs a better client and more user-conforming options. Let me do my runes in champ select. Let me search with custom filters in champ select. Let me see my teammates' match histories and stats in champ select. There is absolutely no reason for these features to not be prioritised and on their way. Honestly, they should have arrived long ago.
