I know it seems harmless, but when you (junglers) XP tax a lane for EVEN one minion..

.. you are putting your laner at a massive disadvantage.

The XP in mid and top (idk about botlane because its already shared) is made so that you get JUST enough XP to hit level 5 off of one of the waves (idk which it is but its like the 7th or 8th wave.)

If you tax even so much as ONE minion's XP, your laner will be behind a level for the rest of the lane and they are at a massive disadvantage against their laner and will not be able to fight them ever.

Just thought that the junglers who think that it's ok to XP tax a wave for no reason should know this.

If a jungler takes the time to gank and nothing comes of it then they are also at a massive disadvantage so taxing a couple minions on a gank that didn't work out is perfectly acceptable IMO. When the gank is successful whoever gets the kill shouldn't get the minions, so jungler gets kill they should just leave and if laner gets kill then they should be polite and let the jungle farm a couple of minions. It's all going to the common goal of winning just remember that.

I was talking about when a jungler just walks past the minion wave while walking to the next camp (not ganking the lane, just walking through it) and taxes XP.

Ganks are a different matter but its very foolish to tax XP from your laner for no reason whatsoever.

Not really, they are usually waiting on camp respawns anyways.

I only tax if i gank and nothing comes from it since like i said i took time to do that while their teams jg is farming

Well as a laner i look at max benefit.

If the JG comes and does nothing he deserves nothing If the JG comes and gets a kill he doesn't need the lane farm he just got 300+ gold if JG comes and the laner gets a kill he deserves a wave at least.

Simple rules to follow but always broken. If you break any of these rules you are being greedy.

i include there summoners like if i gank and the other team had to use flash i will take like 1 or 2 melee minions i leave the cannon
