nocturne vs darius/garen

if you're dreading going against one of these two broken ass champions, try nocturne against them. his q is really easy to hit on them because they're so immobile, lw and bc go great with him, his fear is good for 1v1 disengage or engage since it gives you a speed boost if you move towards them, and best of all his spell shield can just eat their stupid fucking ults. going a bruiser/fighter build is good on him because he can afford to go more defensive because of just how much AD his Q gives him.

this is a build i like using if i have to go against either one of them. sub in MR if going against heavy AP comps obviously

you can't guarantee to win lane 100% of the time unless you are way better than your elo. There are jungle ganks, there are miscalculations, there are cheese runes like 15 arpen or crit. In the case that you are way better than your elo, why not just go AD Soraka? She's alot more fun than taking a super expensive Nocturne build where he still blows up in 1 second after diving a carry, and putting him top instead of jungle.

Darius and Garen, even if they lose lane, can still win game by building full tank and peeling for carries. Nocturne simply can't win game if he loses lane top since he has zero utility and can't peel.

He definitely has utility and peel, his fear would be useful even from behind, and at the end of the day going tanky and using your spell shield to eat dangerous spells lets you survive longer to peel

botrk is also super good because it synergies with his passive and attack speed, but for me, bt is better because i have a problem of diving head first into 5 champions and the shield and super life steal is what works for me personally
