So what do you guys do against Olaf?

I understand that he's particularly strong right now, but he doesn't have an obvious answer.

He gets 40 AD on his R, trading armor and MR (which he kind of got for free anyway) for a CC break and CC immunity. All he needs is a black cleaver and he kind of just goes to town. From what I've seen and how I play him, you don't really need to land an axe to go all in on someone, just R and smite them. If you have DMP, even better. What does everyone else do as a solution to this guy?

Mobility is kind of an issue for him. If you're squishies are something like an Ahri and Vayne then he actually does quite poorly.

But is it tho?

I understand he doesn't have anything that you would call "hard", but I feel like his R MS toward champs can make up for a lot of this

Well, obviously.

But it lasts a mere one second.

I suppose it could be worse. It could be longer than one second

Ghost helps to compensate for this a little bit but it is a tad short in duration

Exactly. As I was saying, he's only got that one trick (Ult+Ghost) in his bag to counter his lack of mobility.

Other than chucking an axe to your face, that is!

Oh i understand. Judging by your name, you're probably an Olaf main. What do you not like playing against, or seeing played against you?

  1. I do not main him but have lvl 5 mastery. High mobility carries , exhaust, and lacking primary initiator on your team. Olaf works best when he has a friend to hold the enemy down for him to wail on them, or when they can't run away(Ashe, Varus ).

FLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

That or bend over and kiss your ass goodbye. Just try to pull his attention away from your team so they can escape.

Yeap. Yeap. Yeap.

There is a reason why most people feel forced to run Ghost with him. Tell your Support to Exhaust him when he quite obviously uses his ult (as he glows red and isn't shy about announcing his intentions to the world) and wait it out. He really is a one-trick viking...

build HP and take champs that have the ability to alter terrain

Anivia JarvanIV Taliyah Trundle

burst champs are good too because he has good sustain and gets stronger at low hp so if you burst him and he dies he dont get that power spike on low HP or sustain through damage
