Is there any (allowed) way to change your champion ability icons?

Is there any way that is allowed by Riot to change your champion ability icons in-game? I, for one, would like to see some old ability icons back, and i want to know if there is a way to revert them for myself.

I know there's programs that change skins and announcers, unsure if they do icons though.
