Both Teemo and Shaco use their traps in extremely different ways when compared to Cait. Cait's traps were never given a quote unquote treatment, they've simply been available to the naked eye since conception.

But they're even more useless now because of things disabling them. Teemo has like no ult because you can just activate the trinket or drop the new pink ward and ignore them.
