@Riot Axes concerns with Maw changes.

Hey, just gonna point out that the issue with Maw is that it doesn't offer any penetration like it used to, this caused was to turn the item into a trap item.

You don't need it while ahead and if you do buy it while ahead you are delaying cores and just making it harder to press the lead you have, if you are even you are putting yourself behind since again it's like conceding lane by spending 1300 on something that isn't core ghostblade/duskblade).

If you are behind it's not going to help since you need to get all in to make the item worth it. I don't think anyone wants to all in while behind.

The way to buff Maw is to give it lethality on completion. That way building it would become viable if you are looking to survive lanephase but you also wouldn't be giving up all kill pressure entirely. Right now the item is just training wheels for weak assassin players and is almost never built on adc since their goto mr item is QSS.

Even if you make the trade off and remove the cdr for some lethality that would be a fair trade and make the item more viable.

At the moment it's really just tailored for bruisers but if a bruiser wanted survivability they would opt. for blackcleaver instead since it gives more cdr, hp, and is cheaper.
