There literally hasn't been 1 time a champ's been reworked where I wouldn't have just preferred both

If you play ranked then sure, maybe old AP Sion was kinda a bad or busted design. But If that's my favorite playstyle and I'm playing for [F U N] in norms why the hell can't I just pick the classic version of a champion?

This game lost me entirely when my favorite champs got reworked.

Because a lot of times the playstyle inherent to the champion is unhealthy, assuming it's even balanceable.

Like, sure, people bitch about Akali now, but then they conveniently forget how she didn't get to do anything in lane against someone with an IQ of 2 or greater from levels 1-5, then autowon lane against almost everyone as soon as she hit 6 if she didn't outright int before then. Even if you ever get that balanced, it'll never be healthy gameplay. Or old Aatrox, where his entire gameplay was just dash at the enemy and slap them repeatedly. Or old Warwick, who's only purpose in the game was to one-shot the ADC by pressing R. Or old Evelynn, who just ran around with permastealth from level 1 and was a giant pile of "wat". Or Urgot being...old Urgot.

For every bad rework there's many more that are good, and even most of the bad ones move them at least part of the way towards healthier gameplay, even if it doesn't completely fix them.

Remember: Just because a champion's OP doesn't always mean it's a design issue, especially right after a rework or release. A lot of the time it's just a balance issue.
