this item suffered a slow and painful death with all the little nerfs that added up, and tank items being less hp more resists is worse for fh's existence too.
we ever gonna address its complete obsolescence? new build path, new passive, flat buffs, anything at all ?

Í Vyrdaes Ì1 votesI agree. Yes, let's spend 2700 gold on a handfull of armor and mana and a bit of cdr but not as much as it used to have! All to remove like 310gp worth of attack speed from people around me. That's not even 1600 gold worth of stats removed, and most of the time that's not even going to matter against 2/5 or 3/5 of the enemy team. Congrats, you have successfully removed like 650 active gold after using an item slot and 2700 of your own gold. It doesn't even give you health so any AP damage is going to ignore the purchase entirely.

Which means it debuffs way more than the buff earned by a single 
Í Vyrdaes Ì1 votesI've done testing in-game with a friend (Custom game) and bought 5 daggers, looked at my attack speed, then bought a 6th and walked into the range of his Heart. It was a smidge less than without the dagger. So yeah, maybe it's total and not base but the point stands that it as a complete item barely even counters a 300g pickup. Honestly, the only way this thing is any good is when it's stacked with Malphite or Nunu's attack speed slows. Or Wither, I guess? Wither is already bonkers by itself though.

Now for the FH : If you have 6 daggers, your AS is BaseAs x 1.72 if you run into FH, your AS is BaseAS x 1.72 x 0.85 = 1.46 x BaseAS The equivalent in daggers to an AS of 1.46 x BaseAS is 4 daggers (BaseAS x 1.48) So it counters 2 daggers. Also The more AS the target has, the more valuable it is.

Remember two things; The aura is AoE ASPD slow, and the 15% applies prior to any modifiers making it significantly more effective than it sounds..... obviously it works better against auto-attack comps.
