champions with abilities that should be their passives

Draven spinning axes. each axe caught in succession adds a stacking bleed effect to his auto attacks (max 5.).

his current passive is terrible from a design standpoint and way too snowally. also draven mains hated the removal of the bleed on crits as a reflection of darius passive when he got his current one (the entire blood brothers theme). draven is long overdue for a new passive since his current one is ridiculously feast or famine. since he never not wants to juggle axes, we might aswell turn his q into his passive as his unique way of auto attacking.

Sivir bouncing blades (in place of crits?)

with a restriction of a position based counterplay mechanic. otherwise shed be cancer in lane, as she constantly hits enemies by bouncing her blades on them over minions.

maybe she would auto bounce blades when she hits champions with her q or whatever her new w would be.

Vayne silver bolts.

with added counterplay. now i cant stress this part enough. she needs a better gameplay mechanic around her true damage than a 3 hit passive. something more along fioras vitals that lets enemies actually play around the ability by outplaying and outpositioning her.

Cassiopeia twin fang. poisoning a target modifies her auto attacks against the target, and her e literally becomes her basic attack against the opponent as long as hes poisoned.

the thing pretty much works like that already. why not just go all the way and make her scale with ap/as items like item 3115 ?

only people with abilities that actually are passive count here, otherwise you're talking about completely reworking a champion's kit.

you want teemo, vayne, varus, vi, kled

it wouldnt be a complete rework. in pretty much all cases it would be a rework to one ability and their passive.

dravens passive is complete shit design. its way too snowbally, and riot started moving away from these stack/loss of stack mechanics for exactly the same reason.

his current axe juggling mechanic also has its own issues. in a lot of cases draven can win fights without even juggling axes. he just presses q, runs at a squishy and chunks him out with a crit, or this patch with duskblade and finishes the rest in 2 auto attacks.

in almost all these cases, these abilities are not more than button presses to access a passive steroid/auto attack modifier anyways.

except in vaynes case, where its literally just a passive and cassiopeias case where you hover your mouse over the enemy and spam her e like an auto attack.

They're balanced around having 2 passives though.

then they would be rebalanced? the point is that a lot of these abilties are defining parts of the champions kits. some of them are problematic design like in vaynes case.

turning them into their passives would not only allow to make their kits more interesting, but also to center their gameplay entirely around these mechanics.

At X level Y CDR (dependent on level), Kayle's autoattack transforms. When she tries to auto, she gains Z range and does magic damage in an AoE around her target, while draining a fixed amount of mana over time while she autoattacks (say, 10 per second or something).
