I stopped having issues with Riven...

...after I created a special rune page with only armor runes: Armor quintessences, armor marks, armor seals, and armor glyphs.

That and starting with Cloth + 5 pots make me have a total of about 85 armor at level 1. That value depends from the champion that I am using; I tested that with Zac, using 9/21/0 masteries.

It seems like that is the only way I can beat Riven, as then she does NO damage during the early game and I beat her in her game.

Speaking of which, why people stopped complaining about Riven? Is that because of the Juggernauts countering her?

Juggernauts and Fiora are bigger balance problems at the moment.

Once they're suitably nerfed, we can all get back to bitching about Riven.

People stopped complaining because the new stuff is too "OP" so they are jumping on the bandwagon. Also they dump on Riven pretty hard(most of them at least) so she isn't played much because the new FotM are things that counter her. Also, Riven is all about the early game, so if you can completely shut her down from level 1 when you aren't an actual "counter" to her, it means she has no chance.

I dont have issues playing against Riven at all. Even as Nasus. No idea why you kids can never be able to adapt to her gameplay.
