for real .. until you get some tank items she just devours your soul on lane ... either playing safe she can still "teleport" on you and harass you big time .
she can even tower dive , kill you with a combo and get out fast (or with flash.. )
if u don't have some hard CC is almost impossible to play against her

In lane just stay away from the daggers, you'd be surprised 1) how little damage she does and 2) how many people don't do that.

No, you just need to start walking before it lands, Kata's got big animations on both her daggers and they're both delayed. If you start walking by the time you see the dagger hit you (Q) it's obviously not gonna work.

She clearly does well when teams aren't doing well in team fight where she barely contributes and someone in a 4v5, your team despite outnumbering the enemy, is low on Hp.

Depends what she Q's too, when I played Kata I would often Q the minions so it would land near you, and then E to it to slash you. It's not as reliable but it's safer (don't need to go into Q range).

used to wipe the floor with her thanks to his silence, but as he's fallen off, his effectiveness against her fell with him.

- Toplane: Consider picking someone with hard CC such as Kled, Riven, Darius.
- Jungle: Rek'Sai is amazing at countering Katarina, Lee sin, Gragas
- Mid Lane: Fizz is great into katarina as you both are melee you can easily cast your W to proc onto her. Orianna, Kassadin (silences her).
- Bottom: (Good luck here.... maybe varus...?)
- Support: Thresh if possible, Tahm, Alistar, Janna, Lulu, Braum, heck even Zilean.
For bot I would say Ezreal, you can E away from daggers and out of ult.

Ashe- stun her quickly when she tries to all-in you Xayah- go untargetable to deny her burst (and she wont be able to ult if youre not targetable) Draven- dr...dra...draven gets like 60% of his health back with one axe and cant be bursted due to DD.. youll be fine honey

C9 Squeeky 1 votesDon't go near her daggers, maybe? A lot of her damage comes from her passive (aside from her ult) and she needs her daggers to reset her shunpo (E). She is squishy, melee (play a ranged champ) and vulnerable to CC. Play something like
