How do you effectively lane vs. Nasus?

Been having some trouble figuring this out since you can maybe get one freeze but it will eventually break and he can set up really easily for his jungler. I know as Jax I should be steam rolling a Nasus but even if I get a kill or two on him he just needs to bide time and with his slow it's ridiculously easy for him to set you up for his jungler unless you're playing a ranged champ or a mage. I've pretty much struggled vs. this champion since I started playing this game and he isn't worth banning so any tips are highly appreciated.

Also I'll know you'll say just freeze the wave in front of my own tower but I have to constantly pressure him off farm and as Jax you maybe want to have at least a few stacks in the early game before trading if it can be helped, making it a bit more difficult to effectively freeze. I could just be overthinking this though.

The main thing is to not push him to his tower. You need to be zoning him from the wave. Unless you're pushing into his tower while he's not there in order to reset the wave, the only damage you should ever do to a minion is through a last hit. You will inevitably push the lane, but as long as you're only last-hitting, you will push 2-3 waves in at once. Even if you're a champion that can't harass him while he's at his tower, he's going to miss a lot of minions and even more stacks.

Basically, you want to have a few things going for you: First, you want to engineer it in such a way that the wave's slow pushing towards you. (Remember, even minion wave on their side of the map does this for you.) Try and hold the minions (4 non cannons, and preferably non-melee) just outside of tower range. Second, you need to zone nasus off of minions and/or fight him to lower his HP for the gank. Third: Get a gank happening. This should be easy with the first step, and if either you or the jungler have CC. Fourth: When he's dead, get the jungler to help shove wave in to tower. This denies him the farm, and lets you reset, while he has a slow pushing wave in your direction again.

What to do after lane phase will depend upon the particular team comps, and game state. If you have a team of CC, and a decently fed carry, meet up with your team and win the game as Nasus fruitlessly tries to split push. If he comes to fight, he dies.

If you do not have a bunch of CC, or their damage is better than yours, then just keep denying Nasus, while split pushing. Hydra is useful here, as is mobility boots/teleport. If Nasus fights, then it might be a toss up, if you're not there. But if he was properly denied early game, he's probably going to die. If he wasn't denied, then you guys just lose.
