Do they not test champions when they release them? Do they not compare damage to other champions? Do they even have a balance team? This is just mindbogglingly ridiculous. No counter play, he just deals monstrous amounts of damage.

these are 3 games i've had with a friend. He played morde. He never played morde prior to these 3 games. he was just so reckless. he was just winning somehow, he was just 100-0 everything by grabbing them with e, taking off 80% of their health with q and auto attack passive just erased everything else they had. Absolutely absurd.

The counterplay is dodging his very pretictable, short range grab. (E) Morde has no dashes. Just look at your screen and see him coming.

His E hitbox is just massively wide, with quite a bit of range to it too, his q single target damage is just obnoxious. I am winning with him without doing absolute nothing.

That's the reason, really. Riot didn't implement proper AP bruiser items in the game and keep designing them, like Sylas and Mordekaiser, then these kits get heavily overtuned with the excuse "they don't have proper itemization, so their kits need to be stronger to compensate".

If youre in iron, sure. He is much easier to play than learn to play against, as hes a simple juggernaut.
In any elo where players learn what CC is or buy QSS, youre gunna be worthless.
