That moment when you realize
Nasus is a Juggernaut
Nasus is a Juggernaut
Well, yeah. In the article Riot made to explain what a Juggernaut is, Nasus was literally the example they used to both explain what a Juggernaut is and the standard that Juggernauts should be held to.

But it really seems like Darius and Garen are intended to have decent early games, where Nasus has a horrible one, but transitions into an amazing lategame if he can survive long enough
nasus doesn't have amazing late game, he only has strong mid game, and only if well stacked
Well, let's see the reworked juggernaughts and compare them to Nasus
Juggernaughts : High Base AD up to about 140-160. Nasus : Base AD up to 119
Juggernaughts : Great AD/Total AD scalings Nasus : AD is literally the worst stat you could get on him, he gets AD off his ult and has no AD steroids, his Q benefits way more from CDR/triforce.
Juggernaughts : Health ratios/good synergy with health (free resists for Garen, %missing health heal on Darius) Nasus : 0 synergy with health (free health with ult, lifesteal based -> he wants resists)
Juggernaughts have therefore a good synergy with
.
is usually a core item. Nasus has a bad synergy with it (health, very long to proc. Cdr is cool but it's the only good thing for Nasus on that item).
What's
all about? Crushing other frontlines that get in your way. Nasus can't get this item, he's stuck with a bruiser build, which is good against? squishy champions, even if Nasus is extremely kiteable.
So is Nasus a Juggernaught? If yes, he seems really left behind after the juggernaught changes.
