Also, I had been away from the game for like half a year, just started playing again like two months ago, and had no clue what bards kit did, but I trusted my support, as I always do unless they prove to me they aren't worthy of that trust and we fared pretty well. Imagine my surprise when I saw him make a portal and jump though it, I was like: Waaaaaaaaa? WOWOWWOWOWOWW!, then I followed and we got the double. ^^

Maybe that's because he's only played in ranked by those who mastered him, Most bard's I've faced since a month after his release were scary.

When my adc doesn't wait for my shrines to fully (as I like to say, "ferment") reach their potential, and so my healing output is reduced by 50%... This is not in dire situations btw where one may need immediate heals.

Thresh, Nami, Morgana...people have no clue. Of course, that doesn't stop them from telling you which ones are good to play. They're the ones who ask for Blitzcrank when you offer them a real support.

Lugg2 votesAs a Bard main, I feel your pain. Bard is an awesome champion and tons of fun to play. However, due to so many people trolling him on release, he got a bad rap that is still in a lot of players mindset. So it's quite common to get flamed or booted if you pick him.
On the flip side, once you master Bard, you can carry games. I have successfully outplayed every fed assassin in the game with him now. He can do some really amazing things in game once you get his meeps stacked above 55 and learn how to kite people. Not to mention the incredible amount of plays you can make with his ult from saving your teammates, locking down enemies from escaping, and taking out towers for dives.
The best moment I have had in League so far was a game on Bard where the other players thought I was a Challenger smurf. Man that felt good.

On the other hand, an allied Fizz can be great! When they use their Playful/Trickster to become untargetable just as Tempered Fate drops down on the allies surrounding him it's pretty awesome. :3

Quort2 votesToday I used Tempered Fate on a pair of escaping enemies... right as the allied Malphite decided to use his Unstoppable Force on them. We still killed them, but it was pretty embarrassing. The delay between cast and stasis can be extraordinarily annoying if allies waste high impact skills as it goes off. Of course, the Bard always gets blamed. x3
But, to counteract this bad Bard story, I present a good Bard story! Enemy Thresh lands a hook on allied Ashe. Enemy prepares to pile up on her when suddenly... BOOM! I catch them all in Tempered Fate just as they clumped together. Thresh's hook wears off and Ashe walks away unscathed while they're locked in stasis. :)

He's incredibly OP. Nobody ever sees it because the main focus is solo-queue - enter team games and suddenly the Wandering Caretaker is the Wandering Nametaker.

I have a friend who has been playing jg since he came out and id say he probably has 300 games with him. It never fails me to see someone say "gg bard jungle, might as well feed."
I'd say he wins more than 50% of his games with it and usually goes something like 2/3/24 or 10/5/15 if he builds devourer. Keep in mind we are bronze and silver and this is in normals. But people watch the pros and think you can only win if you play their champs and comps, which nobody can pull off effectively at our skill level. -.-
