Why be good at the game when you can just counterpick?

If you aren't good with the pick, then counterpicking won't help you. I have had it both ways. I counter picked and blew it. I have had people directly counter pick against me and I out played them. Skill will overcome the counter pick in the end.

Counterpick only matters if players are equally skilled with those picks .

Any champion can be mastered to the point where you can play them in any matchup you want. If you are not capable of this then stop complaining and start practicing.

I get counter picked quite a bit. The thing is though, I actually learn the ins and outs of any champion I choose to main. You want to counter my Vi? Sure, let's see if my knowledge of her skills and cooldowns / timing in fights is able to handle your counter pick. Oh, it is? Imagine that.

It's all about how well you play the certain champion. Counter picks become worthless if they choose the champion just because a site says "Countered by "-----" and you have far more knowledge than they do.

People say Yasuo counters squishy immobile skill shot champions.

I say I will gladly continue picking Xerath against him because I can play Xerath quite effectively and can beat him with proper play
