Thoughts on Tanks this patch?

More specifically, who's gotten the best benefit from the recent changes?

Sejuani is hands down the best of them right now. The new Cinderhulk and Gromp smite are considerable buffs to already potent DPS that she can put out and she hasn't received the same power shift as Nautilus. Not much else to say other than she doesn't need anything and I hope this doesn't push her to the point where Riot nerfs her harder than necessary.

Nautilus I think he'll actually make a rise again. The E's spammability opens him up to possibly Liandry's or Abyssal to abuse his pretty great base damage on it and Cinderhulk gives him pretty good presence. I hate that he's lost his W's damage since it seemed important, but the bonus health increase is doubly amazing on him since his shield scales amazingly with his own maximum health. Upwards of 800 on a shield is pretty great for someone who already gets fairly high in the health department.

Zac I'm not sure how I feel about him yet. Yeah, he's gotten a huge buff to his overall CC-ability and Cinderhulk DOES help him, but... he still feels underwhelming. Maybe he's just a different style of tank than I'm used to but he feels a little slow in doing what he needs to do.

Amumu Another good pick right now with the early-game invaders slowly disappearing, and much like Sejuani his AoE might prove to be a little over the top when it comes to late game. I'm of the argument that as frustrating as both can be when they're fed a lot of gold and sink money into damage that they deserve their late game, but Riot's got the final say.

I don't think I have enough experience with other tanks in the jungle, but what are you guys thinking about Chogath Malphite Rammus DrMundo Elise Sion making reappearances in the jungle? Cho'Gath's ult doesn't benefit from Cinderhulk's added bonus and that makes me extremely sad.

What, Cho'Gath's ult hp stacking doesn't benefit from Cinder Hulk??? That's the lamest thing I've heard in a long time. It had SUCH potential to create Massive Cho'Gaths!!!

Sion is good and Rammus is slowly reappearing after he was free

Where was it said that Cho's Feast stacks don't work for Cinderhulk? I just played a game and bought Cinderhulk and Warmogs, my only two HP items, and I had 4.5k health endgame. I could've sworn that it was counting.

Rammus Feels MUCH nicer now that you don't have to get an early kill to be useful on, you can just sit and farm if you mess up a gank and still be totally fine. Volibear Feels AWESOME right now too. His bite being half cooldown while clearing can make you clear SO much faster. Also Cinderhulk makes him do way more damage and clear faster too, it's so good!

Unfortunately, Rammus' early clear is still shit. He still needs a rework or a massive buff in order to be viable at high levels of play.

That was always the case, even when Rammus was considered god tier. He has always had bad early clears, but his ganks were where he shined. Now he can fall back on clearing if he doesn't get any ganks.

Volibear I can't stress it enough. I think he's going to be in a very good place now.
