i rarely see aurelion sol players. it's not because he's not good. he's actually pretty solid. he's just BORING AS FUCK
Bellows2 votesHes actually kinda bad. Hes only solid like people say he is when hes in the niche comps or happens to get fed. Hes not consistent, hes too vulnerable, and he needs tuning. Then I can play him more often again. Until then only in norms im afraid.....

If they won't GU him heavily they should atleast siphon power from his stars. Kinda like how they put more power into Zyra Plants or Malz Voidlings, they should take power out of his starts. I think his E active should be completely reworked. Abilities that combo together are great! Except when one of them is very weak without the other. Look at Zed: All his abilities synergize but are even stronger together. Most of the time you won't get a Q+E combo well from a far away start point. Nor do I think of Aurelion Sol as the super roamer, I think of him as the zoning mage who can kite you to hell and back.

Besides, space god galactic dragon is way cooler than cloud dragon ^^

Im not saying ao'sol doesnt have problems (tho i like him), im saying the whole name and theme change wasnt likely what caused his kit to be that way.

-Clearing waves hell fast with W active -Chasing people down with W and E passive with little resistance -Insta-killing squishies with a full combo -Landing the entire lane wide Q -cross map ganks -One of the best VO's in the game (Should make special taunts play on kill though. Too hard to actually use :/)
He might not be fun for all types of people, but he is far from being devoid of all fun.

Especially when I get Rylia's.. That slow helps me get away but also helps me stick to my target and keep them in my ring of heavenly death XD

Not to mention he's so vulnerable to just about any assassin, fighter, tank, or basically anyone smart enough to avoid his ring. Having to rely on an ult to save you really doesn't feel like solid counterplay. He needs changes.

you dont see aurelion sol players because he is bad
he is litteraly dead meat if you jump on top of him
his E is one of the worst skills in the game, it would be semi usefull if it had a cooldown that wasnt longer then most ultimates in the game
his Q is an inferior version of anivia's Q
he is basicaly anivia without the wall and the damage
