...highly challenging in lower tiers, and not because if my lack of skills. It feels like no matter how well you play, unless you can 1v5 100% of the time, you'll lose the majority of your games with practically anybody on your team. Solo queue is more difficult than it should be. It takes 10 wins in a row to be grouped with players who actually know the basics of playing and winning, but one loss and you're grouped with the bottom of the barrel. What's up with that?

Update: I went straight from S2 to S5. Yup, this matchmaking is amazing, right?

I suggest getting carried, it worked for me. Just play a champ with a lot of utility and a good early game. I used Nautilus , farmed well and outscaled my opponents and just let my team carry me with their damage.

The thing about letting the team carry me is...they don't. But, I see what you're getting at. Naut can help the team get up there while still getting good himself. Huh.

I mean I just play champions where I know I can win a 1 vs 3 fight. Usually it works out well enough that my team can take care of only 2 with the 4 of them.

Yeah, ranked is a joke. I can't take it seriously anymore. There's always an afk, or someone who lets their lane roam without following, or someone who doesn't ward and is always ganked, or someone who always overextends and dies every two minutes, or someone who goes 0-7 and thinks they can 1v3, etc etc. Screw this game. item 3070
