I cant play a new champion

I played a champion i have never played before and got shit on in lane. Im not easily discouraged so i will keep playing him, but people are such assholes. They said in all chat 9x for feeding and verbal abuse (which i didnt they only lied to try to get the enemy team to report me). Im not worried about getting banned but jesus people need to relax. Its a normals game, if i did this in a ranked game i can understand why you would be mad, but in a normals game?

Normals is made to learn how to play champions and how to lane against certain match ups. Why not a bot game? because bot games wont help me develop skills i might need for that champion. All a bot game will help me do is help me get familiar with a champions abilities.

Edit: one of the jerks i reported got penalized LOLOL, how ironic that they tried so hard to report me and yet he was the one who ended up getting penalized

I usually play a champ vs AI once just so I have their basic mechanics understood, then go to normals. That's just to prevent the "so that's what my abilities do" crap.

i agree.

on the other hand ranked is ass right now for most solo players thanks to dynamic que. there is literally no serious mode for solo players right now, so the competitive players are probably going into normals a lot, while waiting for solo que.

the logic is that all the highly competitive players who are more likely to get mad at misplays are just trying to get good games in normals until riot finally gives up and reeimplements solo que.

i think there is a lot of frustration in the game in general right now.

that doesnt mean i disagree. theyre just normals and someone who plays a new champion shouldnt get shit on for doing poorly with him.

Dynamic queue only affects the top players. I don't see why everyone has to hop onto the circlejerk.

Well, lower Ranked gets effected, resulting in more new players to ranked (since they'll try it to join their friends) and by more smurfs (people who could play with friends before on ranked teams), but those arguments are ignored.

Really? This actually kinda makes me happy that I can't load up games right now (due to my campus wifi and will hopefully be fixed by them as Riot can only do so much on their end).

I feel like a watered down Laughing Fish at times. Most memers are recognized by who they main. Superb villain, Malicious Metal, Laughing Fish, RaptorKarr, etc. Sharing the same main as Laughing Fish means that only one of us will be all that memorable, and that one is always going to be Laughing Fish.

Although I don't care all that much, I have no clue what to do with fame. Put it in the oven? Wear it as a hat? Who knows

If you explain it's a first time using a champ, I'm sure they'll be less severe because it is normals. If they aren't, well they are dicks and just mute them if they refuse to calm down.

It's normals, losing or winning means nothing. It's where you go to learn and (more importantly imo) have fun.

This isn't really crying. Though expressing an opinion on the boards (or just being salty) can help you relax.

Ever since I did a salty post on the Poppy gutting, I feel a lot less annoyed by the situation.

Seriously, get down from your high horse once in awhile.

Get familiar with ability combos on Coop vs AI then move on to normals.

That's the thing though. The AI is normally so bad that you it won't teach you correct combos.

Hah, sure do that. It's like being spoon fed in AI. You don't hardly learn anything at all that can't be learned in seconds in a real game or a minute or so by simply researching your champion a little beforehand.

dude try playing 1v5 in ai

just push mid, vs 1 bot its easy but once you start pushing more bots will come defend it will get harder

try to finish asap

What??? Are you being serious? OMG!

Claiming one would not learn anything in Coop vs AI is BS unless you are just making excuses to troll normals.

So using your own logic against you... you can't make excuses on being flamed for playing badly on normals. That is, since you are claiming you are being to learn within few seconds to minutes during the normals match or by doing research beforehand.

If you are going to use that argument, then don't complain being flamed for performing badly during the match.

So... did you not understand the part where the abilities combinations, checking and testing which combinations gives optimum performance, on Coop vs AI? And the timings for initiating those ability combos are done on normals?

Yes people can be asses but...when I play a new champ I play a few AI matches to learn them that way no one gets butt hurt.

But yea, you are right- It's normals for a reason. Also, tip of advice in case you get further abuse: Don't ask for reports, that is reportable Do not retaliate with toxicity, reportable Just mute and report and be done

i played ryze, i have not played ryze since his reworks like more than a year ago (i cant remember when he got reworked). I played against irelia and got shit on.

Most people would say "how did you lose lane with ryze? all you have to do is face role the keyboard". It was my first game since his rework so i was learning how to combo in game XD

Ryze is one of the hardest champions in the game. Don't sweat it and keep practicing you'll get it eventually.

I'm no pro at Ryze, but you need to weave Q's between E's and W's. So get 4/5 marks of your passive, then go R>E>Q>W>Q>E>Q>W>Q....

Ikr love when you report someone who tries to ban you.

Did that to a lee in my game who after dying....I think once? Wait no not even that just not calling MIA (I actually did I think), and mid getting a double kill, our supp lee in all chat:

"Report our mid easy ban" and said something to that effect around 5 times. Then I reported post game and got that beloved message that says a player has been punished.

Although, tbh, I thought this post was gonna be:

Go into ranked:first pick takes my champ Go into draft: same as first go into blind: someone else hovers

but yeah just ignore everyone that insults you and laugh at them because you know you're awesome. There've been numerous times someone's said what lee said and I'm just like yeah whatever lmao. Then there are others where I've been called a god lol. Just don't flame back and laugh at them and you'll be fine. Just don't troll or feed intentionally lol.

To each their own. Personally when I pick up a new champ (or have been away a few weeks) I start in bot games to get the ring rust off. Then I move up to pvp to really start honing my edge. Bots are an easy game, bots mean I can focus more on last hitting and landing skill shots and less on OMGHOLYF%CKGETOFFMYASSGETOFFMYASS!
