Top Rumble - Can it even be done?

Been awhile since I posted here last!

So, back when we still had a level 30 cap, and I was terrified to do PvP, I played nothing but vs. bots. That was pretty much my thing for the longest. I always played Rumble, top lane. I got pretty darn good at it, too. Or so I felt, anyhow... Anyways, after the update that gave us a different level cap, I finally broke down and played draft for the first time.

And I got CREAMED. Most of my draft losses were completely my fault... All except one, which was a victory. Still... Does Rumble as a top laner even actually work? Because I have been curbstomped by so many different champions in the few games I've played that I am convinced that either Rumble shouldn't be a top lane, or I just suck as Rumble and need to try a different champion. Dunno who I'd switch to, though...

Rumble IS a top lane champion.

He is also a very hard champion to learn and play well.

On top of that, he is not doing so well this preseason, with a 48% win rate.
