So... being new to a champ means you're braindead now?
Now, forewarning - I'm not a good player. I only just recently hit level 30, and I always seem to manage to mess things up for me and my team with stupid, panic-filled decisions.
I like to try out new champions, see how I play as them. But idiot me usually jumps blindly into a match with them, not bothering to read up any guides, or go into a practice to test out their various abilities. I admit, that bit of stupidity is on me.
Today, I figured I'd try out Draven, because Draven. (Plus, I bought him, and the Primetime Draven skin. Ain't letting that go to waste.) Me and three friends go into the match, and get a random fifth; ending up with a team of Nautilus top, Akali jungle, Shyvana mid, Draven bot, and Pyke sup.
This Pyke is just too kill-happy, managing to secure early kills on both bot-laners (Jinx/Janna), not even giving me a chance on that. About that time, he begins ping-spamming for me to fall back, even though he's taking all the farm, and is basically making me fall behind. I only fell back so I could start buying items, and by the time I got back, those two were back, and they made mincemeat of the both of us.
This is when Pyke began to type, all-chat CAPS LOCK, how "this draven is braindead".
After this point, this guy just blows his top about how I sucked, even ignoring me saying I was new to the champion, my friends telling him I'd only recently hit level 30, ect. He was just convinced I was feeding or something, I guess. Guy got so salty, he demanded the other team report the Akali, because she died when he began ping-spamming her for help. Speaking of ping-spamming, that's about all this guy did - trash-talk, spew salt to his own team, act like he was carrying us all, spam pings, what have you.
So is the new thing to tell players who are either new or still learning that they're braindead, or somethin'? Honestly, the days of just having people ask the enemy team to report you for inting seem so much nicer.
