Because she's actually difficult to play and because she doesn't scale nearly as well as other midlaners (Orianna, Viktor, etc.) she has to play aggressively with no mobility.

She's one of the best because players that know how to play her know how to survive ganks and how to properly aggress, both of which are not talents people exhibit the best of.

If you factor out human error (or at least minimize it, as pro play does) though she's insanely powerful.

Considering a fed Syndra can oneshot an ADC with just Q+E (yes, I did that to a Tristana) buffing her would be insane.

lol win rate is an indicator of strength ... just as people make 20+ post a day right now about how broken lucian is and they quote his win rate and pick rate... so it matters

Because he was foolish enough to watch her build a 6 orb ult and stuck around.

She was 6/2 after the kill, so 5/2 before she set up a 6 orb ult. Fed Syndra, allowed to pull off a full 6 orb ult, that's what happens.

Unlike Veigar who can be 0/6 with bad items, and hit you with 1 stun + r dead.

I mean, a no bonus MR Kogmaw with no bonus HP against a 6 ball Syndra ult. Didnt look and see if there was ignite or anything also and cant see their items/runes.

Lot more goes into Syndra's R than "just pressing"

Syndra did not just press R.

She already had 2 spheres created, and she hit kog with a Q right before the ult. So,

she also had Q damage on him
she had spheres already created

I dare you to go up to someone as syndra and just press R without doing anything else or having any spheres already made. We both know it wouldnt kill them.
