There is always multiple threads asking why Shaco is always targeted for nerfs. Why no reds?

You'll provide insight to minor changes like Graves losing his MR from True Grit. You'll mention changes to Jarvan's shield being rescaled.

Didn't see anyone question or dispute those changes.

But when countless people ask for an explanation to their favorite clown, we get dick bupkis.


Can we please get a red to provide some context as to why the constant nerfs are happening, and what the changes hope to achieve?

I am not asking for a red to reply to this particular post, or any for that matter.. I would just like someone, somewhere to explain the thought process (or lackthereof) that goes into these nerfs.

If you mean by favorite clown, as in a champion that is basically designed to troll the enemy jungler play just as many jukes as plenty o other champions who does bs measures (Yasuo LeeSin Hecarim Bard, etc.) by giving the constant middle finger by having a insanely number of disruption mechanics? Lets list them.

-A Click and 'blink' teleport to a target location for his Q that can go from 1.25 to up to 4.25 invisibility, enhances his next basic attack with physical damage that scales on AP and gives a 2.5 second reduction on that same Q ability just for doing a basic attack. Not to mention said ability won't break its invis with his clone creation R and his fear box W just causes him to shimmer instead, which is basically granting a sign that says: "Come this fucking way to get hit by my retarded fear box damage ability."

-His W thankfully can't apply spell effects but the fact this same ability causes a .5~1.5 fear and will rapidly do repeated magic damage spam shots and gets 60 second duration that gets increased by 5% of shaco's AP turns into a major scummy kit that even the 16 second cooldown tag is not going to be fair. Teemo's traps only get away with such shenigans because its under a ultimate and its a 'slow effect' then fear. Really they need to change this ability to either deal signficantly less damage (such as greatly reducing the rapid fire damage) OR change the fear to a short decaying slow in order to balance it. It acts as a scummy way for Shaco to mix in his own version of a 'stun' which lets him get his Q bonus damage, passive bonus damage and E damage off with ridiculous ease.

-E stacks on to this because not only does it let him move speed slow a target which once again, stacked with his Q and passive damage effects, lets him harass stab a target multiple times, even if the passive's bonus damage is not up yet, but that E passive slow is going to make it hard for a person to be able to flee outside of a wall jump. Not to mention the active lets him apply a 'range' version that lasts 3 seconds instead of 2 of that same slow and the damage it dishes out goes as high as 125 base with a full 100% bonus AD scaling and +75% AP AND it has a 3%~8% missing health damage bonus, literally 2 ridiculously high scalings and a missing health scaling which just adds to the bs on how he can 'finish off' a target with retarded ease after using jack in the box and deceive to screw with them.

-Lets not even get started on his R has less then a 2 minute cooldown, has full +100 AP scaling but a strong 200~400 base damage for the 'clone dying explosion' and it will spawn 3 of those jack in the boxes which 'also' apply fear and also does that rapid fire damage, even if the damage is 'reduced' a tiny bit, Oh plus said clone can still deal 75% of Shaco's damage which is again, already pretty ridiculously strong so the use of AD shaco items will make that clone hit relatively hard to boot.

Too many gimmicks, too much EZ damage, you should really change yer bloody name ya troll cause Shaco has been around too long as one of the scummy junglers who just gets so much free reign with 2 of the most brokenly overpowered mechanic effects in the game: "Invisibility and Fear", because the first has next to barely any counter item pick ups and the later is one of the most retardedly strong disruption mechanics that helps champions like Hecarim get away with super retardedly easy tower dives and melt the enemy right under their turret BS.

Plain and simple, they need to do more then just nerf him, he needs a proper damn overhaul to where he either gets to keep the strong damage or he gets to keep the 'tricks', not both of them.
