Riots statement about the boards and player's community

Maple Nectar about the complains on the boards :

''If you're enjoying something, there's very little reason to go out of your way to talk about how much you're enjoying it, you just keep doing it. When things go a direction that you're NOT happy with, that's when you tend to speak out about how you're not happy. ''

Apparently Maple Nectar never made social studies... And at riot you seem to not have any sociologist or to not talk directly with them. Big companies which create services for society use social studies to improve their content...

You have to consider many things about your LOL population :

• N°1 chinese people don't directly complain it's prohibited to complain to official institutions in china. Their habit is to not complain over established systems. They won't do it, they will only answer to you if you ask direcly what they don't like.

• N°2 Number of new players don't know how the game was before nowadays so they can't compare quality of the gameplay.

• N°3 Many people don't even know the boards does exist. I play since season 2 and i just learnt about the boards 2 years ago...

• N°4 Many people will always think if i complain it won't change anything => resilience.

• N°5 Most of humans even if they aren't happy with what they got they wont do anything to change it. They will say it's life and it's like this and they prefer enjoy the good parts of it.

I don't say that the majority of the poeple aren't happy with the game. However to say that those who don't complain are happy with the game is seriously wrong. You just don't know and you can't tell. Those who don't express themselves you can't know if they are happy or not !

For example my best friend which plays the game since first season didn't make any complain however he really hates the actual gameplay...

Riots deduction is clearly one made to sleep better and having no remorse.
