Zoe tips?

Hello so I have played Zoe around 5 times (not in a row) since last year because I always think “I really like zoe,should I try again?” And I play her again after a long time since the last failure.It seems like I am the worst Zoe player ever .She is too hard for me,I cannot land my q in lane,ever.I saw some replays and they were mostly playing from the side to cast q on ranged minions or enemy.However.I end up feeding even though I play safe.And I play passively in general with Champions I don’t know how to play.I don’t feed often so I really cringe my scores with Zoe are 1/6 and so on.I feel like I can’t do anything.Everytime I see a Zoe main with 150k in my team or enemy team I wanna cry because it is impossible for me to play her...I end up having low farm and I suck.I do not have a problem laning against Zoe because I know what to expect from most of the champions and how to bait them.My problem is playing Zoe.I played her 2 times today,failed at both,I don’t know how people did not flame me until top lane did but it was very very late.It was like 4v5 for my team.How do I play her ?Zoe mains?Any tips?
